• SNAP Employment and Training.  Help at a SNAP!   

     

  • Are you receiving SNAP benefits?  If so, we can assist you with the SNAP Employment and Training Program.

     

    SNAP E&T (Employment and Training) Program provides SNAP participants opportunities to gain skills, training, work, or experience that will increase their ability to obtain employment that moves them forward to self-sufficiency.

     

    Who Can Participate?

    • Anyone who is receiving SNAP benefits
    • 16 years or older
    • Physically and mentally fit to participate
    • Able to participate immediately

    NOTE: Anyone receiving TEA or Unemployment Insurance is not eligible for SNAP E&T Program.

  • SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, is the nation’s most important anti-hunger program. SNAP provides nutritional support for low-income seniors, people with disabilities living on fixed incomes, and other individuals and families with low incomes.
