Welcome to Little Rock West High School of Innovation

Whether you choose Traditional, Blended, or Virtual Learning, at LRWHSOI your student will receive a personalized learning experience and the benefits of a traditional public school!

Little Rock West currently serves students in grades 9-11 in the Little Rock area and offers students a choice of either a traditional, blended, or virtual learning model for instruction. We will continue adding grades each year until we serve grades 9-12.

The Blended Learning plan looks much like a traditional school in that students report to school for a full day of instruction each school day. Students have a blend of on-site classes taught by our certified teachers and online instruction, all taking place on-site within the school day.

Fully online instruction, or Virtual Learning, is provided through Ignite Digital Academy and Virtual Arkansas and is closely monitored by our certified teachers on-staff. This allows for students to get direct support from our own LRW teachers as well as their Virtual Arkansas teachers. Interaction between teacher, student, and parent may occur through several avenues, including video conferencing, email, online communicating during class time, phone, and face-to-face.

Students choosing Blended or Virtual Learning still have the benefit of participating in school-sponsored events and functions, just as our fully on-site students.
