    Overview

    • The Romine Early Childhood Center in the Little Rock School District focuses on providing students with strategies that help them develop the emotional, social and cognitive skills needed to become lifelong learners.
    • Each class is equipped with a Certified teacher and CDA certified Paraprofessional to ensure every child receives safe and high-quality care.
    • QUALIFICATIONS: Children must be three years and four years old on or before August 1 to enroll in our PreK-3 and PreK-4 Program. CENTER HOURS: 7:15 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. CHILD CARE: 7 - 8 a.m. and 2:15 - 5:30 p.m. REGISTRATION: LRSD Early Childhood Student Registration Office, 5240 Mablevale Pike, LR 72209, 501-447-2950. HIGHLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL: Certified teachers and CDA-certified paraprofessionals in all classes at the Center. Transportation is not provided.

    PTA

    Romine Early Childhood Center established our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) under the leadership of Principal/Coordinator Tyrone Harris. The PTA continues to grow and build with the dedication and involvement of our parents.  The support of our parents and teachers is very important in the continued success of our school. This is a chance to get involved and make a difference. The opportunities are endless; coordinate volunteers, raise funds for the school, support our students & teachers and so much more.  The cost is $5 for a single membership and $10 for a whole family.
