ViPS "An Evening for the Stars" volunteer reception was held on April 17th at the Holiday Inn Airport. The 30th annual event was held to celebrate the hard-working volunteers, employees, and supporters of the Little Rock School District.
Dr. Morris Holmes, superintendent of schools, was presented a mock check by the ViPS Board of Directors President WJ Monagle in the amount of $17 million which represents the value of 815,069 hours of volunteer time reported during the 2011-2012 school year.
