Visiting the Library Media Center

The library media center is open Monday through Friday from 8:45-3:45. Students visit the library once a month with their English class for Information Literacy lessons and to check out books. Library books may be checked out for one week. The students have the option to renew their library book after a week if they would like to keep it for a second week. Students often visit the library with other core classes such as Science and Social Studies classes for research purposes.

Free Flow

Students may free flow to the library to check out or return books. Students may free flow after work is finished in a class or at the end of a class with the teacher’s permission. Free flow is available between classes if time permits. Students may also visit the library during their lunch. There are numerous options available to students if they choose to visit the library during lunch. A few options include checking in or checking out a book, using computers for educational purposes, working on school work or homework, participating in Makerspace activities, or simply relaxing with a good book.
