    The Adult Education Center provides FREE, self-paced, individualized instruction for the non-traditional adult student, ages 18 and above.  The Adult Education Center offers a variety of classes including Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE/GED), and English-As-A-Second Language (ESL).  Adult Education instruction assists adults with improving or enhancing their reading, math, and language skills; learning the English language; and preparing for the Arkansas High School Diploma (GED); for entry into post-secondary education, employment, or the armed forces.  All classes are taught by certified teachers.    

    Class locations include the Adult Education Center on 26th Street and several satellite programs in the Little Rock area. 

    Individuals who are age 16 or 17 must obtain a waiver from the last public school he or she attended in order to enroll at the Adult Education Center.

    El Centro de Educación de Adultos ofrece gratis, a su propio lapso, la enseñanza individualizada para el estudiante adulto no tradicional, de edades de 18 en adelante. El Centro de Educación para Adultos ofrece una variedad de clases incluyendo Educación Básica para Adultos (ABE), Educación Secundaria de Adultos (ASE / GED), e Inglés-como-Segundo Idioma (ESL). La Instrucción de la educación de adultos, ayuda a los adultos a mejorar o aumentar su lectura, matemáticas y lenguaje; el aprendizaje del idioma Inglés, y la preparación para el Diploma de High School o sea el (GED), para el ingreso a la educación postsecundaria, a un empleo o las fuerzas armadas. Todas las clases son impartidas por profesores titulados.
