Ms. Carnelia Lacy
Media Specialist
I've been a Library Media Specialist in the Little Rock School District for 21 years; it's been an amazing experience to have spent the last 12 years at Brady. My favorite books growing up were the little Golden Books and books written by Dr. Seuss. I never grow tired of reading a story to students, sharing a lesson about how to use the library's resources, helping students find information safely and efficiently and, most importantly, helping a student find that special book that will take them on a reading adventure. When I’m not reading my favorite genres of realistic fiction, non-fiction, and cookbooks, I like to exercise and travel. I love when students greet me in the community often calling me The Library Teacher, Library Lady, some even call me “The Librarian”. I appreciate working with you and your children.

I became a full time Brady Bulldog in 2018. I have had a variety of experience in general education, as well as special education classrooms. I work with a special education team which allows me to service my student in individual and groups sessions. I am a flexible team player and my goal is to maximize all children's access to education. I am blessed to be part of a team that puts our students first!
